Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English and a quarter Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish as well as English descendance. Her mother is Spanish and English origin. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children. Four of them are born from her father's prior marriage. Families lived at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, then moved to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy stated that the move had been traumatic and she refused to learn English as she wanted to come back to Argentina. Her school had to change from Northlands and then Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school plays. After 16 she left school in order to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy is a child actor who knew she would become an actor. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a job as a model.
