
Pichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is better known. [6] He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.Born in Madurai in India, Pichai graduated at IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering. After moving to the United States, he attained an M.S. He earned a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He also received an MBA from Wharton School of Pennsylvania. After a brief stint with McKinsey and Co. as a management consultant, Pichai was hired by Google in 2004 as the head of the innovation and product management for various Google's client products. This included ChromeOS as well as ChromeOS. He also was the manager of Google Drive. He also managed the development of Google Maps and Gmail. Pichai launched WebM in 2010, and also announced the open-sourcing of the new codec for video called VP8 from Google. In 2012, the Chromebook was introduced. Pichai was the director of the development of Android in 2012, also added Android to his list of Google products.
