Taylor Swift
Taylor Alison Swift is an American musician and singer. Her birth date was the 13th of December, 1989. Her discography spans multiple genres, and her songwriting--often driven by her own personal experience--has received critical praise and wide media attention. Swift was born in West Reading (PA) and relocated to Nashville as a teenager to pursue a career as an artist in the world of country music. Swift signed an arrangement for songwriting with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and a recording deal with Big Machine Records in 2004. Swift was the first female country artist to release a U.S. platinum-certified debut album, and it was self-titled. Swift's next albums, Fearless (2008) and Speak Now (2010), emphasized country pop. Swift's initial two albums called Fearless (2008) and Speak Now (2010) was a focus on country pop. The songs "Love Story" (and "You Are My Friend") were the first songs to appear on the U.S. pop and all-genre airplay charts. Red (2012), which included her debut Billboard Hot 100 number one track, "We are Never Ever getting back Together" is her first album of electronic and rock. 1989 (2014), her synth-pop album, features her own picture. It also included the top charting songs "Shake It off", "Blank Space" and "Bad Blood". Reputation (2017) was released in 2017. The album's most popular track, "Look What You Made Me do" was the result of an investigation by the media. After leaving Big Machine, Swift signed with Republic Records in 2018 and released her seventh studio album, Lover (2019), which was then followed by her autobiographical film Miss Americana (2020). Swift has explored the genres of alternative and indie on her album for 2020, Folklore. The songs she released "Cardigan", "Willow" as well as "Willow," topped the Hot 100. Swift began to re-record six albums following a dispute with her bosses. Swift made two albums available in 2021, Fearless (Taylor's version) as well as Red. "All Too Well (10 minute version)" was the longest track to make it to the top of the Hot 100. Midnights 2022, Swift's album and its first single "Anti-Hero", have established new records for streaming music that have held up to the test. In addition, she has been awarded titles like Artist of the Decade and Woman of the Decade, Swift is a vocal advocate for women's rights as well as artists' empowerment. Swift's music has been credited with inspiring young singer-songwriters of the future.
